Providence Health is looking for a RN to join our Outpatient Wound Care Clinic. The Wound Care Clinic is open Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm. The ideal candidate will have previous wound care experience.

Position Highlights:

• Consistent hours – Office hours are 8 am – 4 pm
• No Weekends
• No Call
• No Holidays
• Great clinical/office environment

Essential Functions:

• Provide direct care for patients in the Wound Care Clinic setting including holistic assessment, comprehensive wound evaluations and preparation of patient for medical care.
• Collaborates with physician and other team members to initiate plan of care to promote healing of chronic wounds.
• Works closely with home health agencies to ensure continuity of care for the wound care patient.
• Must have a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced outpatient area.

Minimum Work Experience:

• 2 years' Med/Surge experience.
• Home health experience a plus.
• At least 1 year of wound care preferred.

Minimum Education

ADN required, BSN preferred. Must have knowledge of nursing principles, practices and systems in relation to Wound, Ostomy, Continence nursing practice.

Required Licenses:

• Current SC license as a Registered Nurse
• Wound Care Certification preferred.
• BLS
