We were recently notified that Jane Walker has passed. Jane was from Atlanta area, and one of the 12 founders of IAET, which became the WOCN Society®. She was a "rock star" at Northside and started the Emory ET program with Dr McGarity. She was an ET but she was not a nurse.

I just found out Susan Gatens McAllister, a WOC nurse in Macon, GA, died on January 10th. Susan was 50 years old and certified as a CWOCN in 1995 from Emory. She worked at Coliseum Hospital in Macon, GA. Prayers to her husband Shane and her children Anne Marie Cross and Paul Gatens.

  • Angela Dye has moved from Northeast Georgia to Northside Forsyth WOCN Supervisor in December.
  • Jana Knight has moved from Wellstar Atlanta Medical to Northside Gwinnett.
